About

Mike is a New York City–based director, portrait photographer, and filmmaker dedicated to capturing bold, human-centric visual stories. Along with a dedicated team of creatives, he provides world-class production for commercial, editorial, and private clients worldwide.

With over 12 years in the photo industry, Mike has cultivated a distinct style rooted in high-touch portraiture and editorial aesthetics. After establishing his foundation in high-end events, his craft rapidly expanded into global commercial campaigns and editorial assignments—delivering striking imagery for prominent brands and publications including Moncler, Oliver Peoples, Variety, and TIME Magazine.

Today, Mike’s work centers on his core passion: character-focused portraiture and cinematic filmmaking. His technical foundation was further sharpened through his tenure within the elite ecosystem of Studio Platon, where he served as Platon’s first assistant, B camera, and digital post-production specialist—contributing to high-profile projects for Balenciaga, Stellantis, and New York Magazine. That environment instilled an unyielding standard for master lighting, meticulous retouching, and deep respect for the individual in front of the lens.

Beyond the studio, Mike actively shapes the visual community as an event producer, speaker, and workshop leader with the B&H Event Space, hosting live photo experiences and sharing tradecraft on portraiture and visual storytelling.

Whether directing intimate, character-driven interview films or executing high-end portrait sessions, Mike creates an authentic space for subjects to express themselves—resulting in timeless, defining images for personal legacies and global brands alike.
